About The Young People's Chorus of New York City

The Young People's Chorus of New York City founded by its Artistic Director Francisco Nunez is a Non-Profit Group that brings together children of all social, ethnic and cultural backgrounds from all five boroughs of New York City. The resident chorus of both the 92nd Street Y and WNYC Radio and the winner of two gold medals at the 2004 Choir Olympics in Germany, YPC performs at many high profile events, including most recently, the 9/11 commemorations at Ground Zero, the lighting of the Lincoln Center Christmas Tree, and other holiday events at Carnegie Hall and St. Patrick's Cathedral.
